Spanish Word a Day

Zuttozoom (see sidebar for link) - you win! You didn't guess the right word (very funny BTW), but you at least guessed! Here is the right word:

pegajoso = sticky Pronounced: peh-gah-Hóh-soh
Type: adjective
Example: Pisé un chicle y era difícil quitarlo porque era tan pegajoso.
Translation: I stepped on a piece of chewing gum and it was difficult to remove since it was so sticky.

I have this Spanish word a day come up as a feed on my Google home page. Most of the words I know, but what's excellent is the examples. Even though I know the words, I learn a lot from their example sentences about usage.
